Ah summer thrills! My husband and daughter have gone up (and down, and up and down) on one of these, but I prefer to keep my cookies :-).

Eek! Does it spin while it's dropping? No, thank you.
No it doesn't spin. The pauses at the top seems like a few minutes and then, without warning it drops. For me, there was at a point at which, I was just beginning to accept the sensation of doom and then I felt the brakes kick in.
Ahhh! I can smell fear!
Ha! That is the aroma of this particular flower.
