The 45,000+ square foot facility has undergone several changes since opening July 1, 1984. Presently the centre holds 6 exhibit galleries, an IMAX theatre, observatory, learning centre, computer and science labs, amateur radio station, star theatre, as well as the boardroom, a cafe, concession and gift shop.
